Sembramos y Florecemos (We Sow, We Flourish) is a bi-annual fellowship program that trains emerging leaders in grassroots organizing, healing justice, and cultural strategy.

The program launched in the summer of 2022 to promote civic engagement among young adults, with a focus on relational and cultural organizing.

We use storytelling and art making to forge deep bonds with our Semillitas (little seeds), while exploring themes of identity, culture, and community. We also provide mentorship and resourcing to support Fellows in developing community engaged art and advocacy projects.

Since launching three years ago, we’ve brought together more than two dozen young people from across the RGV, and have collaborated with them to incubate impactful advocacy and cultural projects, including Never Before Zine, Rio de Muertos, and ReMade in the RGV.
